ဒီေန႕ ReadWriteWeb မွာ ဖတ္လိုက္ရတာနဲ႕ Chromium ကို download ခ်ျပီးေတာ့ စမ္းၾကည့္ျဖစ္လုိက္တယ္။ Chrome OS က ပံုစံအတိုင္း Chromium နဲ႕ လုပ္လုိ႕ရတယ္ေပါ့။ Mac မွာကေတာ့ Chromium ကို Web App ေတြနဲ႕ တြဲသံုးဖို႕အတြက္ ဒီအတိုင္းဖြင့္လို႕မရဘူး။

Chrome version အသစ္မွာ ျမန္မာစာ နဲ႕ English စာ တြဲရိုက္လုိ႕မရ။ Mac မွာကေတာ့ အရင္ကတည္းက မရတာ။ အခု Windows မွာလည္း မရေတာ့ဘူး။ Chrom 5 မွာ stable ျဖစ္သြားလို႕နဲ႕ တူပါတယ္။ ျမန္မာစာ မရေတာ့တာ။ အရင္တုန္းက stable မျဖစ္ခင္တုန္းက ေရွာင္လင္ေျပာသလို bug ေၾကာင့္ ျမန္မာစာ ရတာျဖစ္မယ္။ Mac မွာမရေတာ့ သံုးမရဘူး။ Chrome ကို ေျပာင္းသံုးဖို႕ စဥ္းစားေပမယ့္ Blog ေတြ facebook မွာ ျမန္မာလုိမွ ရိုက္လို႕မရေတာ့ မသံုးျဖစ္ေတာ့ဘူး။ Chrome မွာလည္း chrome addon ေကာင္းေကာင္းေလးေတြ ရွိတယ္။ သို႕ေသာ္ .... ျမန္မာစာ မရတဲ့အတြက္ ကၽြန္ေတာ့္အတြက္ကေတာ့ firefox ပဲ ဆက္သံုးေနရဆဲပဲ။ Product တစ္ခုဟာ ဘယ္ေလာက္ၾကီးေကာင္းပါတယ္ေျပာေျပာ ကိုယ့္အတြက္အဆင္မေျပေတာ့ အလကားပဲဆိုတာေတာ့ သိလုိက္ရတယ္။

Amazone က touch screen အတြက္ Touchco ကို ဝယ္ဖို႕ ၾကိဳးစားေနပါျပီ။ Kindle အေနနဲ႕ iPad ကို ယွဥ္ႏိုင္မွာမဟုတ္ဘူးဆိုတာ လူတိုင္း သိျပီးသားပါ။ ဘယ္သူေတြ ဘာေျပာေျပာ amazone ရဲ႕ Kindle ရဲ႕ ျပိဳင္ဘက္အေနနဲ႕ iPad က ေရာက္လာပါျပီ။ Amazone က ဒါကို အေစာၾကီးကတည္းက ၾကိဳသိသင့္တယ္။ iPad မထြက္ခင္ ကတည္းက ဝယ္ထားသင့္တာ။ Rumor ေတြ ဒီေလာက္ထြက္ေနတဲ့အခ်ိန္ထိ Amazone က Kindle ကို SDK ထုတ္ေပးလိုက္မယ္လို႕ ေျပာေသးတယ္။ ဒါေပမယ့္ သူေျပာျပီး မၾကာခင္မွာပဲ iPad ကို Steve ၾကီးက ပြဲထုတ္လုိက္ေတာ့ သူ႕ SDK ကို ဘယ္သူမွ စိတ္မဝင္စားေတာ့ဘူး။ color ကလည္း မပါ။ touch screen လည္းမဟုတ္ဆိုေတာ့ iPad ကို လူေတြ ပိုစိတ္ဝင္စားေနတာ မစမ္းဘူးေပါ့။ HP Slate ထုတ္မယ္ဆိုတုန္းကေတာင္ ဒီေလာက္ လႈပ္လႈပ္ရွားရွားမျဖစ္သြားဘူး။ iPad လာမယ္ဆိုေရာ သူလည္း ျပန္လည္ ထိုးစစ္ဆင္ဖုိ႕ ၾကိဳးစားရျပီ။

Kindle က touch screen မပါဘူး။ ေနာက္ျပီး color မပါတဲ့အတြက္ေၾကာင့္ battery က ၁ ပတ္ေလာက္ ခံတယ္။ အဲ... သူတို႕ႏိုင္ငံမွာက battery ၁ ပတ္ေလာက္ ခံလည္း ဘာလုပ္မွာတုန္း။ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံလို အတြက္ဆိုေတာ့ မဆိုးဘူးေပါ့။ ၁၀ နာရီ ေလာက္ပဲ ခံတဲ့ iPad ကို ပို စိတ္ေရာက္သြားတာ မစမ္းပါဘူး။ iPad ၁၀ နာရီပဲ ခံတယ္။ ခရီးသြားရင္ေတာင္ ၁၀ နာရီ ေက်ာ္လံုး iPad ၾကီး မၾကည့္ႏိုင္ပါဘူးဗ်ာ။ ေနာက္ျပီး Laptop ရိွရင္ iPad ကို အားသြင္းလို႕ေတာင္ ရေသး။ အဲဒီေတာ့ battery ၁ ပတ္ ခံတာ ဘာလုပ္ရမွာတုန္းဗ်။

Kindle ကလည္း Touch screen နဲ႕ မၾကာခင္မွာ ထပ္ထုတ္ေတာ့မယ္ သေဘာရိွတယ္။ ေနာက္ျပီး Google ကလည္း စာအုပ္ေလာကထဲဝင္လာျပီး ေနရာလုအံုးမွာ ေသခ်ာတယ္။ အခု Google ကလည္း Tablet ထုတ္ဖို႕ၾကံေနျပန္ျပီ။ ထံုးစံအတိုင္း Chrome OS ဆိုေတာ့ လံုးဝလံုးဝ အကုန္ internet ရိွမွပဲ ျဖစ္ေတာ့မွာဆိုေတာ့ ေစ်းကေတာ့ iPad ထက္ သက္သာႏိုင္တယ္။ iPad ထြက္ျပီးေတာ့ အခ်ဳိ႕ေတြကလည္း HP Slate ကို စိတ္ေရာက္သြားၾကျပန္တယ္။ အဓိက အေၾကာင္းျပခ်က္ေတြက multi tasking နဲ႕ flash မရလုိ႕ပါတဲ့။ ဘာပဲေျပာေျပာ ေနာက္ ၃ ႏွစ္ ၄ ႏွစ္ေလာက္ဆိုရင္ အကုန္လံုး tablet ေတြနဲ႕ျဖစ္ကုန္ၾကေတာ့မွာပါဗ်ာ။

In order to continue to improve our products and deliver more sophisticated features and performance, we are harnessing some of the latest improvements in web browser technology.  This includes faster JavaScript processing and new standards like HTML5.  As a result, over the course of 2010, we will be phasing out support for Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 as well as other older browsers that are not supported by their own manufacturers.

We plan to begin phasing out support of these older browsers on the Google Docs suite and the Google Sites editor on March 1, 2010.  After that point, certain functionality within these applications may have higher latency and may not work correctly in these older browsers. Later in 2010, we will start to phase out support for these browsers for Google Mail and Google Calendar.

Google Apps will continue to support Internet Explorer 7.0 and above, Firefox 3.0 and above, Google Chrome 4.0 and above, and Safari 3.0 and above.

Starting next week, users on these older browsers will see a message in Google Docs and the Google Sites editor explaining this change and asking them to upgrade their browser.  We will also alert you again closer to March 1 to remind you of this change.
