တစ်ချိန်တစ်ခါတုန်းကတော့ Google Calendar ကို public holiday ကြည့်ဖို့ သက်သက်သာ အသုံးပြုခဲ့တယ်။ အခုနောက်ပိုင်းမှာတော့ Google Calendar ကို ကောင်းကောင်းကြီး အသုံးချနေရပြီ။ အရင်က Google Calendar ကို မသုံးဖြစ်တဲ့ အကြောင်းအရင်းကတော့ Offline မရလို့ ဆိုရမယ်။ သို့ပေမယ့် Mac မှာ iCal နဲ့ တွဲသုံးလို့ရသလို iPhone, iPad တို့မှာလည်း email ထည့်ထားပြီး Calendar ကို on လိုက်တာနဲ့ သူ့ အလိုလို iCal မှာ sync သွားလုပ်ပေးတယ်ဆိုတော့ တော်တော်လေးကို အဆင်ပြေသွားတယ်။

လွန်ခဲ့တဲ့ ၁ နှစ်လောက်တုန်းက ရုံးက Computer နဲ့ အိမ်က computer မှာ iCal sync မရလို့ စိတ်ညစ်နေတာ။ သို့ပေမယ့် ပြီးခဲ့တဲ့ ရက်ပိုင်းကမှ Google Calendar ပြန်သုံးမယ်လေ ဆိုပြီး စမ်းကြည့်လိုက်တာ တော်တော်လေးကို အဆင်ပြေတယ်။ iCal ရဲ့ account မှာ Google Calendar ကို support လုပ်ထားတာကြောင့်လည်း ပါတယ်။ အခုဆို Mac Book က iCal မှာ Event ထည့်လိုက်တာနဲ့ iPhone , iPad တို့မှာ iTunes Sync လုပ်စရာမလိုပဲ Google Calendar က online ကနေ တဆင့် sync လုပ်ပေးသွားတယ်။ ဘာ ကြိုးတွေမှ မလိုဘူး။ ရုံးရောက်တာနဲ့ iCal ဖွင့်လိုက်တာနဲ့ အိမ်မှာ ထည့်ထားတဲ့ Event တွေ ရုံးက computer နဲ့ သူ့ အလိုလို sync လုပ်ပေးသွားတယ်။ ဒါကြောင့် Google Calendar ကို နေ့တိုင်း သုံးနေရတယ်။

အခုတော့ Google Calendar က Event တွေ မှတ်ဖို့ အတွက် ဖြစ်လာပြီ။ ဘယ်နေ့မှာ ဘာတွေ လုပ်ရမလဲ မှတ်ဖို့တွေအတွက် ဖြစ်လာပြီ။ iCal မှာ July ၁ လ စာ အပြည့် ရောင်စုံတွေ ဖုံးလွှမ်းနေပြီ။ ဟိုးအရင်တုန်းက နားမလည်ခဲ့တဲ့ Calendar ကို ဘာလို့ သုံးရသလဲဆိုတာကို တဖြည်းဖြည်းနဲ့ သိလာပြီ။ ဘာပဲပြောပြော တစ်ခါတစ်လေမှာ google က free ပေးထားတဲ့ service အချို့ကိုတော့ ကျေးဇူးတင်မိတာ အမှန်ပဲ။ Google Calendar Web Version ထက်စာရင် iCal နဲ့ သုံးရတာ ပိုကြိုက်တယ်။ Offline သုံးလို့ရသလို UI ကော သုံးရတာ လွယ်ကူ မြန်ဆန်မှုကော အများကြီး ကွာတယ်။ Web App တွေ ခေတ်စားလာပေမယ့် သုံးစွဲသူအတွက်တော့ လျင်လျင်မြန်မြန် အပြင် Offline ပါသုံးလို့ရတဲ့ feature တွေကတော့ လိုအပ်နေဆဲပဲ။ ဒါကြောင့် Evernote , Wunderlist , Dropbox တို့က လူကြိုက်များတယ်ဆိုလည်း မမှားဘူး။ ဘာပဲပြောပြော လွန်ခဲ့တဲ့ ၂နှစ်လောက်ကတည်းက Google Calendar ကို offline သုံးချင်တာ ပြီးခဲ့တဲ့ ရက်ပိုင်းကမှပဲ Mac iCal နဲ့ တွဲသုံးရုံသာမက iPhone , iPad က iCal နဲ့ပါ သုံးလို့ရတယ်ဆိုတာကို သိတော့ ကိုယ့်ကိုယ်ကို ညံ့လိုက်လေခြင်းလို့တောင် ဆိုမိလေတယ်။

အဲဒီ API အားလုံးကို အခုအချိန်မှာတော့ request တွေ အများကြီး လုပ်ခွင့် မပေးတော့ပါဘူး။ Google က ပေးထားပြီးသား API တွေ တော်တော်များများကို ဖျက်သိမ်းလိုက်တော့ လက်ရှိ သုံးထားတဲ့ project တွေ website ကို့လို့ကန့်လန့် တွေ ဖြစ်ကုန်တာ အမှန်ပဲ။ တော်သေးတာက လက်ရှိ Google API ကို သုံးပြီးရေးထားတဲ့ project တွေ တစ်ခု မှ မရှိသေးဘူး။ ကြည့်ရတာ နောက်ဆိုရင် Google လည်း API တွေကို Enterprise level တွေကိုပဲ ပေးတော့ မလား မသိလို့ စဉ်းစားမိတယ်။ ကိုယ့် website မှာ အပေါ်က API တစ်ခုခု သုံးထားတဲ့သူတွေ ဘယ်လို အစားထိုးရမလဲဆိုတာကိုတော့ ဒီ ရက် အတွင်းမှာ အဖြေရထားသင့်နေပြီ။

Kindle ကလည်း Touch screen နဲ့ မကြာခင်မှာ ထပ်ထုတ်တော့မယ် သဘောရှိတယ်။ နောက်ပြီး Google ကလည်း စာအုပ်လောကထဲဝင်လာပြီး နေရာလုအုံးမှာ သေချာတယ်။ အခု Google ကလည်း Tablet ထုတ်ဖို့ကြံနေပြန်ပြီ။ ထုံးစံအတိုင်း Chrome OS ဆိုတော့ လုံးဝလုံးဝ အကုန် internet ရှိမှပဲ ဖြစ်တော့မှာဆိုတော့ စျေးကတော့ iPad ထက် သက်သာနိုင်တယ်။ iPad ထွက်ပြီးတော့ အချို့တွေကလည်း HP Slate ကို စိတ်ရောက်သွားကြပြန်တယ်။ အဓိက အကြောင်းပြချက်တွေက multi tasking နဲ့ flash မရလို့ပါတဲ့။ ဘာပဲပြောပြော နောက် ၃ နှစ် ၄ နှစ်လောက်ဆိုရင် အကုန်လုံး tablet တွေနဲ့ဖြစ်ကုန်ကြတော့မှာပါဗျာ။

don’t live in HTML 4…. all will change to HTML 5…. let change together…. hmm… IE … that a stupid… forget about that…  We will change to HTML 5 supported browser… because google will change it… but still support IE 7.  IE 7,8 doesn’t support HTML 5….. We will bye bye IE,soon…. if IE 9 will not coming…

Dear Google Apps admin,​

In order to continue to improve our products and deliver more sophisticated features and performance, we are harnessing some of the latest improvements in web browser technology.  This includes faster JavaScript processing and new standards like HTML5.  As a result, over the course of 2010, we will be phasing out support for Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 as well as other older browsers that are not supported by their own manufacturers.

We plan to begin phasing out support of these older browsers on the Google Docs suite and the Google Sites editor on March 1, 2010.  After that point, certain functionality within these applications may have higher latency and may not work correctly in these older browsers. Later in 2010, we will start to phase out support for these browsers for Google Mail and Google Calendar.

Google Apps will continue to support Internet Explorer 7.0 and above, Firefox 3.0 and above, Google Chrome 4.0 and above, and Safari 3.0 and above.

Starting next week, users on these older browsers will see a message in Google Docs and the Google Sites editor explaining this change and asking them to upgrade their browser.  We will also alert you again closer to March 1 to remind you of this change.
