MyanmarLink မှာ ပြောခဲ့တဲ့ presentation ပါ။ အသံဖိုင်ကိုတော့ ဒီမှာ ရနိုင်ပါတယ်။

အရင်ကတော့ jquery ကို iphone အတွက် ရေးချင်ရင် jQTouch နဲ့ အသုံးပြုပြီး ရေးရတယ်။ နောက်တော့ sencha touch ပေါ်လာတယ်။ phonegap , titanium လိုမျိုး web base ကနေ app ဖန်တီးလို့ရလာတာတွေကြောင့် native ui နဲ့ တူတဲ့ jquery framework တွေ ခေတ်စားလာပါတယ်။ အများအားဖြင့်တော့ jQTouch နဲ့ sencha ကို အသုံးများပါတယ်။ Ornagai မှာလည်း jQTouch ကို အသုံးပြုထားတယ်။ jQuery ကလည်း အခုတော့ mobile version အတွက်ပါ ထုတ်ပါပြီ။ သူကြေငြာထားတာတော့ ကြာပြီ။ အခုမှပဲ alpha release ထုတ်တာပေါ့။။

ipad မှာ စမ်းကြည့်တာကတော့ smooth မဖြစ်သေးဘူး။ animation တွေက မဆိုးပေမယ့် ထစ်နေတယ်။ iPhone မှာကတော့ လုံးဝ smart ပဲ။ မကြိုက်တဲ့ အချက်တစ်ခုက Loading ပြီးမှ နောက်ထပ် view တစ်ခုဝင်လာတာပဲ။ ဒါပေမယ့်လည်း အခုလောက်က မဆိုးဘူး ဆိုရမယ်။ ကျွန်တော်ကတော့ full version ထွက်အောင် စောင့်လိုက်အုံးမယ်။

ကြော်ငြာကြည့်ရတာ အခု iPhone သမားတွေ ဖြစ်နေတဲ့ ပုံနဲ့ တော်တော်တူပါတယ်။ ကြည့်ရတာ Windows Phone 7 ကလည်း iPhone လိုမျိုး အောင်မြင်မယ်လို့ မျှော်မှန်းထားပုံပဲ။ Oct 11 ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်လောက် ထွက်မယ်နဲ့တူပါတယ်။ အခုထက်ထိတော့ ကောလဟာလတွေပဲ ရှိသေးတယ်။ Oct မှာတော့ ထွက်မှာ သေချာပါတယ်။

အခုခေတ်က တော်တော်ယောင်လို့ ကောင်းတဲ့ ခေတ်လို့ ဆိုရမလားမသိဘူး။ Language တွေ ယောင်လို့ ပြီးလို့ Mobile Development လုပ်တော့မယ်ဆိုရင် ထပ်ယောင် စရာတွေ လာပြီ။ Android ကိုလုပ်မလား iPhone ကိုလုပ်မလား။ နောက်ပြီး ၂ ခုလုုံးလုပ်ချင်တယ်ဆိုတဲ့သူတွေလည်း ရှိသေးတယ်။ ဟိုးအရင်တုန်းက Mobile အတွက် Nokia Symbian ပဲရှိတော့ Java လေ့လာပဲ။ အခုတော့ ခေတ်တွေက ပြောင်းသွားပြီ။ Web Developer လည်း Mobile App ရေးလို့ရကုန်တော့ Web Developer တွေလည်း Mobile လိုင်းကို ယောင်တောင်တောင်နဲ့ လွယ်လွယ်လေး ကူးလို့ရနေပြီ။

အရင်ဆုံး ဘာကို Development လုပ်မှာလဲ။ Android လား iPhone လား ။

iPhone Dev

iPhone ကို လိုက်တော့မယ်ဆိုရင်တော့ ပုံမှန် Native အားဖြင့် အရင်ဆုံး Mac ရှိဖို့လိုတယ်။ နောက်ပြီး iPhone SDK ကို download ချပြီး Objective-C လေ့လာဖို့လိုမယ်။ iPhone SDK size က 2GB လောက်ရှိတယ်။ နောက်ပြီး iPhone Developer Account ကို ဝယ်သင့်တယ်။ ဒါမှ Device ပေါ်မှာ စမ်းလို့ရမှာ။ အဲဒီအတွက် $99 ကုန်မယ်။ အဲ… ရောင်းတော့မယ်ဆိုရင်လည်း Bank က swift code ရှိတဲ့ bank ဖြစ်ဖို့လိုတယ်။ နောက်ပြီး App ကို အခုတင် အခု App store မှာ မရဘူး။ သူတို့ Review လုပ်ပြီးမှရမယ်။ အဲဒီအတွက် အချိန် အမြန်ဆုံး ၁ ပတ်။ အကြာဆုံး ၁ လ လောက်တော့ ပေးရမယ်။ Approve မဖြစ်ရင် reject လုပ်လိုက်မယ့်။ အဲ.. ရောင်းရင် ကိုယ်က 70% ပဲပြန်ရမှာနော်။

Android Dev

Java အနည်းငယ်တတ်ဖို့လိုတယ်။ Android SDK ကို download ချပြီး Eclipse နဲ့ တွဲသုံးဖို့လိုတယ်။ SDK ကို စသွင်းကာစမှတော့ တော်တော်စိတ်ညစ်ဖို့ကောင်းတာ ကြုံရလိမ့်မယ်။ SDK သွင်းဖို့ Download အကြာကြီး စောင့်ရလိမ့်မယ်။ Android ကတော့ java ဆိုတဲ့ အသံကြားကတည်းက လေ့ကို မလေ့လာတော့တာ။ လူက ဘာကြောင့်လဲမသိဘူး။ Java ဆိုကတည်းက စိတ်ကို မဝင်စားတာ။ Android Market မှာတင်ဖို့ $25 ပေးဖို့လိုတယ်။ သူလည်း Apple လိုပဲ ရောင်းရင် 70% ပဲ ကိုယ်က ပြန်ရမှာ။ သူက Google Android Market အပြင် Motorola Market လည်း ရှိတယ်။ တကယ်လို့ Market ပေါ်မတင်ပဲ apk file ထုတ်ပြီး ဖုန်းတွေမှာ သွင်းလို့ရတယ်။ iPhone ကတော့ အဲလိုမရဘူး။ အဲဒါကတော့ Android က သာတယ်လို့ ဆိုလို့ရမယ်။

တစ်ခါရေး ၂ ခုလုံး Run ဖို့ကော မဖြစ်နိုင်ဘူးလား။ ဖြစ်နိုင်တာပေါ့။ ကျွန်တော် အပေါ်မှာပြောခဲ့ပါတယ်။ Web Developer တွေအနေနဲ့ App ကို လွယ်လွယ်ရေးလို့ရနေပြီ။ ဘာတွေနဲ့ ရေးလို့ရသလဲ။

Phonegap

လက်ရှိ အလွယ်ဆုံးနဲ့ အမြန်ဆုံး ထွေထွေထူးထူး ဘာမှ လေ့လာစရာမလိုပဲရေးလို့ရတာကတော့ Phonegap ပဲ။ သူက compile ပဲလုပ်ပေးတာလေ။ HTML နဲ့ ရေး။ ပြီးရင် XCode မှာ phonegap template သွင်းပြီး compile လုပ်လိုက်ရုံပဲ။ Android အတွက်ဆိုလည်း Eclipse နဲ့ compile လုပ်လိုက်ရုံပဲ။ HTML ကနေ Phone App ဖြစ်သွားပါလေရော။ Phonegap API အနည်းငယ်တော့ လေ့လာလို့ရတယ်။ SDK ရဲ့ API တွေယူသုံးချင်ရင် phonegap api တွေလေ့လာလို့ရတယ်။ ဒါပေမယ့် အများကြီး မရဘူး။ သူက HTML ကို app ပြောင်းဖို့အတွက်လောက်ပဲ။ မကောင်းတဲ့အချက်ကတော့ compile လုပ်ရင် မလိုအပ်တဲ့ service တွေပါ ထည့်ပြီး compile လုပ်လိုက်တာပဲ။ ရှိသမျှ service တွေအကုန်ထည့်ပြီး compile လုပ်တာတော့ ဆိုးတယ်။

Titanium mobile

သူကလည်း phonegap လိုပဲ။ ဒါပေမယ့် သူက ပိုလေ့လာရတယ်။ Phonegap လို လွယ်လွယ်ကူကူ လုပ်လို့မရဘူး။ အရင်ဆုံး Titanium API ကိုလေ့လာရတယ်။ သူက javascript ပဲ။ သူ့ API က webview object ကနေ html ကို load လုပ်ပြီး phone gap လို လုပ်လို့ရသလို native textbox တို့ button တို့ tab တို့ ဖန်တီးလို့ရတာကတော့ phonegap ထက်သာတယ်။ ဒါပေမယ့် သူကလေ့လာဖို့အတွက် အချိန်ပေးရတယ်။ အခု iPad အတွက်ပါ ရနေပြီ။

Rhomobile

ဒါကတော့ Ruby သမားတွေအတွက်ပေါ့။ Ruby နဲ့ iPhone , Android တွေကို ရေးလို့ရအောင်ပေါ့။ တစ်ခါမှတော့ မစမ်းဘူးဖူး။

Others

အခြား Development တွေက ထွေထွေထူးထူးမရှိပါဘူး။ နာမည်မရှိတဲ့ mobile framework တွေကတော့ အများကြီးပဲ။ နောက်ပြီး ဝယ်ရတဲ့ Dragonfire SDK တို့ anscamobile တို့လိုမျိုးဟာတွေ လည်းရှိသေးတယ်။

Adobe Flash CS5 for iPhone Dev

Adobe Flash CS5 မှာ iPhone အတွက်ရေးလို့ရပြီ။ App store က Native မှလက်ခံမယ်ဆိုလို့ Patch အသစ်ထုတ်ပေးထားတယ်လို့တော့ ကြားတယ်။ တစ်ခါမှတော့ မစမ်းဘူးဖူး။

.NET ?

အခုတလော rumor တစ်ခုထွက်နေတယ်။ WWDC မှာ Steve B တက်မယ်လို့ ကြားတယ်။ VS.NET မှာ iPhone native app ရေးလို့ရတာ ကြေငြာမယ်လို့လည်း ပြောနေကြတယ်။ ဟုတ်မဟုတ်တော့ မသိဘူး။ Android ကို Mono နဲ့ရေးလို့ရတယ်ကြားတယ်။

Alpha ကနေ Zawgyi Keyboard နဲ့ font ကို Windows Mobile အတွက် လုပ်ပေးလိုက်ပါပြီဗျာ။ ကျွန်တော့်မှာ Windows Mobile မရှိသလို သူငယ်ချင်းတွေထဲမှာလည်း သုံးတဲ့လူမရှိတော့ ရှိတဲ့သူတွေ စမ်းပြီး အကြောင်းပြန်ပေးကြပါအုံး။

အဲဒါလေးသွင်းပြီးရင်တော့ Windows Mobile မှာ ဇော်ဂျီရိုက်လို့ရပြီး SMS ကို ဇော်ဂျီနဲ့ ပို့လို့ရမယ်လို့ ထင်ပါတယ်။ ကဲ.. စမ်းပြီးရင်တော့ ပြန်ပြောဖို့ မမေ့နဲ့အုံးဗျာ။

Tip:

1. Copy your font file (usually with the *.ttf extension) from the Fonts folder on your PC to the “/Windows/Fonts” folder on your mobile device. Be sure to note down the internal name of the font by double-clicking on the file in Explorer, in this case “Segoe UI”

2. Using your favorite registry editor (desktop based mobile registry editor, CeRegEditor, is handy), navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\GDI\SysFnt

3. Find the key named “Nm”. Replace its value (usually Tahoma) with the internal name of the font you want to replace , in this case “Segoe UI”

4. Repeat Step 3 for “HKLM\SYSTEM\GWE\Menu\Menufnt\Barfnt” and “Popfnt”

5. Finally change the value of “Tahoma” under HKEY_LOCAL_MAHINE\SYSTEM\GDI\FontAlias, to the name of the Font you want to replace i.e. “Segoe UI”

6. Soft Reset the device.

The 2.0 release of ornagai-mobile is ready. You can downloaded it here:

Main features of this release include:

1) Look up compound words easily: searching for “cabin” will return “cabin crew” and “log cabin”, even though they are far apart in the dictionary.

2) Works on most phones: we did a LOT of work to make the dictionary as tiny as possible; it should work if your phone has 4MB of memory (possibly less).

3) Ability to load custom dictionaries: This feature is experimental, but all tested dictionaries have worked so far. Load your own word list, using our converter program to shrink your TSV file so that it fits on your phone.

All downloads are ZIP files containing the JAR and JAD (and certificate, if required) to install and run the program. We have all worked to test this and confirm that it is working on most emulators, and several real devices. There are minor issues with some phones, but nothing that should cause it to crash. (HTC phones, for example, don’t
show anti-aliased Burmese text. But you can still read the definition;
just that the quality’s less).

The 2.0 release was mostly programmed by myself. I would like future releases to be centered around many developers. Ma Khaing Su Hlaing has compiled the source and done a very good job testing it. I have added her to the Google Code project with “Commit” status. If anyone else is interested in helping, please let me know. Also, please ask if you have any questions about how the source code works. Some of it is very messy.
